LEE'S SENIOR MOMENTSThis space is written by LEE a retired guy living in
Arlington Texas. Lee writes about his life and his adventures along the way. He and his wife have been married for 42 years.
He has been on spaces since 2006. His interests vary from
the grandkids to the outdoors to baseball, writing, computers,
photography, horseback riding and blogging.
You won't be sorry.. Here is a short sample from Lee's
Senior Moments....
Quote...
"One day my brother and I had gone back to the old one lane
bridge on that old road - another great place for a kid to amuse
himself. Then we started walking that old road working our way
(in a very roundabout way) back home. We came across about a
half case of beer in the tall grass beside the road. Just in case
someone should come back for it, we moved it, and stashed it
under the old bridge. You know, I don't really remember what
happened to it after that. (hehehe) (Actually, that is the truth.
We knew we were much too young to be drinking it. )"

JO ANN'S SPACE..
JoAnn is a retired, married, mother of two and grandma of 5!
She lives in Texas, loves to cook and sew quilts.
She writes very interesting tidbits on her space about her
life and her family. She has only had her space since Feb of 2008,
but has plenty to say. You will love her short little stories of
her life.. Her Photo Albums are full of treasures. She has made the most
wonderful quilts I have ever seen. Be sure to check them out!!
Here is a recent sample from her blog.....
AUNT EMMA..
"She was not a woman of stature and rail thin. Her hair was thinning and turning gray.
Her dresses were ankle length and drab in color. She wore a white bibbed apron tied
at the back of her waist. She had spunk and grit and was loved by my grandparents
and their children. We called her Aunt Emma - she was a woman of color
– she was a part of our family."
There is so much more .. stop by Jo Ann's space today and check it out..
You will love it!! LIFE, LOVE AND THE PURSUIT OF CHEESECAKE

"First off, let me say that this idea of a space/blog thingy is
all Bob's. I think maybe he tricked me by telling me it
was the only way I could get on his blog (since he
went private..???) Since we all know Bob needs a
mommy really really bad, I figured it was the only
way to keep tabs on him. Was I wrong???? (And by
the way, for those of you who asked, yes I will
tell his secrets and MY side of the story!!) ".
CHECK OUR HER SPACE HERE TODAY I am sure
you will love it!

is written by Marianke, proud US Army Wife to Jon. Originally from the
Netherlands, but has been living in the USA 4 years .
She recently was appointed Jump Start Director for the
Not-For-Profit organization Operation Proud Hearts.
An organization for and by military families. She is a
strong Christian lady who is trying to get her green
card and start a family too. She has been on MSN spaces
since 2005 and has many friends from many countries
who visit her. Here is a recent sample from her space..
"
I WANT TO WORK. And they take away the right for me to do that. I serve this
country too, with my husband deployed 3 years ago, and going through the
hardships of the Military Life.
I volunteer in Army Readiness (Army Family Support) and am certified through
the US Army to teach Army Family Team Building.
Jon was pissed. Being a Recruiter, he knows about how many illegals are
in our county let alone, that are working, have expensive cars, and huge
houses and are living the easy life, milking insurances like medicare and
all that. In our county that is at least 500.
He said "I served this country for 11 years now, and this is how they pay you back? Sucking the money out of you, and denying your wife that loves you so incredibly
much and whom I love with all my heart, who puts so much effort into meaning so
much to Military Families, the chance on living a normal life, and work." -
they are screwing us over. This has been going on for almost 3 years, and I
am, we are getting frustrated with it. IS IT WRONG TO LOVE MY HUSBAND???
It is plain rediculous. We cannot afford the high fees that they have with immigration
services, we are getting along fine right now, but it will be much better once I work,
and I am going nuts at home. I need a job. I love to work, I want to work."
VISIT HOUSEHOLD SIX and see what else is going on in Marianke's life. WELCOME TO LIZZIE'S LOUNGEFor the last spacewalk space of 2007 I have
added here... WELCOME TO LIZZIE'S LOUNGE.
This space is written by a retired elementary
teacher. Here is the story of LIZZIE... written by
the owner of this space....
"I am a retired teacher and taught kindergarten
and elementary grade levels for years. I LOVED
TEACHING and knew from a young age that it was
what I wanted to do. My parents took me to
the U.S. at the beginning of my teen years,
for my dad's employement, and we lived there
many years, with me staying after they retired
back to Canada.
During my last year of teaching my First Grade class, I got a bearded dragon lizard to add to our animal family.
(We had 5 cats.) One of my teacher friends had a
bearded dragon, and after learning about how to
care for them, I thought it would be nice to have one
of my own. I thought a lizard would be a great hands
on for my class, when we studied reptiles, and talked
my husband into getting one, after doing research
and explaining the pros and cons. My site is called LIZZIE'S LOUNGE
for two reasons. My middle name is Elisabeth, which is the basis
for my nick-name Beth, though my first name is Wanda.
I like to be called Beth. Well...Lizzie is a play on my name
and it is what I named my bearded dragon lizard.
So, my site is named in honor of her. My general writing style
in blogging reflects what my teaching style was, with a love for
learning, nature, and sharing information, in a detail oriented
fashion, but hopefully, with creativity that can inspire."
BACK TO NATURE![]() Here is a space I loved instant it opened. It is called BACK TO NATURE KIM, married mother of two, from Tennessee, writes this wonderful space about all things nature. Her photos are breathtaking and her views about nature are wonderful. She is an animal advocate, she enjoys camping, photography. She works as a cashier in a cafeteria. Here is a recent sample from her blog.. "While on my trip through the hills of Middle & East Tenn.. the other day, jumping from park to park, we decided to take some back roads through country we've never seen before. Now I love the path least taken simply because..well, no one is there to bother you while you sightsee! Sometimes you run across something that just puts a smile on your face... run down houses who's unkept yards make you wonder what the place was like 50 years ago when life inhabited the place... old barns so worn by years of rain and sun they're almost unrecognizable. Such places hold just enough memories, maybe that's why no one can bear to let them go. Whatever the case, as we drove through God's Country I couldn't help but wonder what the world would be like if it looked like this *everywhere*. Life would be so much simpler." VISIT WITH KIM AND GET BACK TO NATURE!
